ROCKINGHAM — Catherine Ann Stanton Roberts, 77, of Rockingham, formerly of New Jersey and New York, passed away after a brief illness, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at FirstHealth Richmond, Rockingham.
She was born to Anita Axen in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, May 22, 1944.
Mrs. Roberts was a former office manager with Wallkill School System and a member of Reformed Church of Shawangunk. She loved her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed her house plants, her sewing, crocheting and time dancing in the living room with her family. She was a woman of very strong faith! She will be missed!
She was preceded in death by her mother; and her husband, Joseph J. Roberts.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine James (Stanley) of the home; son, Anthony Roberts (Julie) of Lake Katrine, New York; grandchildren, Nicole Vega, Zackary Mathieu, Brian Roberts and Thomas Roberts; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date in New York.
