HAMLET — Christopher Lee Lovette, 48, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at his residence.
Chris was born May 19, 1973 in Charlotte, son of Randy Louis Lovette and the late Shirley Ann Thomas.
He was a supervisor with Hornwood, Inc. in Lilesville and was an avid Richmond Raiders fan.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Thomas; stepmother, Kay Lovette; and brother, Adam Ludlum.
He is survived by his father, Randy Louis Lovette and Maxine Cummins; brothers, Randy Louis Lovette Jr. (Shannon), Josh Ludlum (Beth), Matt Grant (Penny), Tim Grant (Kim) and John Grant; sisters, Cassie Lovette (Mickey), Amanda Ludlum (Melvin), Angel Lovette (Justin) and Daisy Dawkins (Chris); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Cartledge Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with the Rev. Jason Lutz officiating.
