Eleven to compete for the title of Miss Marlboro Academy

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. — The 2026 Miss Marlboro Academy Pageant will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Marlboro Academy gymnasium. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. 

Eleven young ladies from grades nine through 12 will vie for the crown. The contestants include: 

  • Anna Claire Barrington, daughter of Lance Barrington and Meredith Atkinson of Bennettsville
  • Adisynne Powers, daughter of Adam Powers of Bennettsville
  • Aniston Shepard, daughter of Ernie and Elizebeth Shepard of Rockingham
  • Sara Driggers, daughter of Henry and Jennifer Driggers of Bennettsville
  • Kendall Carter, daughter of Gary and Marie Carter of Rockingham
  • Paisley Westbay, daughter of Jon and Miranda Westbay of Bennettsville
  • Anna Weslin Stubbs, daughter of Todd and Tracie Stubbs of Bennettsville
  • Madelyn Goodwin, daughter of Matthew and Gabrielle Goodwin of Rockingham
  • Mariah Cooper, daughter of Buster and Windy Causey of Bennettsville
  • Carley Gulledge, daughter of Mark and Felisia Gulledge of Hamlet
  • Amanda King, daughter of Brandon and Christy King of Bennettsville

“Female Pop Icons” serves as the theme of this year’s pageant, which will feature music from artists such as Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus and more.

Mrs. Denise Jones and Ms. Alexa Boan teamed up to serve as directors/producers. Mrs. Courtney Barrington serves as choreographer for this year’s production. Ms. Morgan Romano, Miss USA 2022, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.
