Lenny Lucero Espitia, Raylan Horne and Robert Rush made up the EMS team. Lenny and Raylan earned  fourth place in the Air Trajectory engineering event.

“I’m proud of our students for representing Ellerbe Middle and Richmond County Schools,” said Dr. Joey Moree, principal. “It  was a great opportunity for them to challenge themselves and be part of something bigger.”

North Carolina Science Olympiad is a program of N.C. State University that engages K–12 students in science, technology,  engineering, and math through team-based tournaments held at college campuses across the state.
