“CLASSROOM CREDITS” WITH EMMA WILLIAMS

Sure to put her academics ahead of her two-season commitment as a cheerleader during the fall and winter campaigns, Williams has had a strong start to her senior year.

Now in the latter half of the first semester, Williams is taking advantage of Richmond’s dual enrollment partnership with Richmond Community College. This fall, she’s taking three courses at RichmondCC and two classes at the high school.

At Richmond, Williams is enrolled in English IV Honors and Annual Production Honors. During the first nine-week period, she made the A honor roll with high marks in both classes.

Getting ahead by earning college credits while still in high school, Williams’ three courses at RichmondCC are English 111, Psychology 150 and Math 171. Currently, she has passing grades in all three classes.

Williams has a cumulative 4.15 weighted grade point average, which ranks her in the top 41 spots of Richmond’s senior class.

Involved as a member of the yearbook staff, Williams also serves as the vice president of BETA Club. She’s also a general member of HOSA and Fellowship of Christian Students, and was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society as a junior.

Following graduation, Williams’ plan is to continue her passion for helping others and earn her undergraduate degree in psychology. From there, she plans to pursue her master’s degree in occupational therapy.
