HAMLET — A man is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail on weed-related charges.

Records show the Hamlet Police Department arrested 35-year-old Dominique Lamont Hubbard July 10 on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

According to the warrant, Hubbard was in possession of 119 grams (nearly 4.2 ounces) of cannabis, as well as plastic bags and a “weighing scale.”

The release order states that no bond is authorized, but the RO could not find any pending charges with the N.C. Court System. However the Pretrial Integrity Act is noted on the order.

Records with the N.C. Department of Adult Correction were not available at the time of writing.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
