The I Can Scholarship Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026 scholarship application and invites graduating seniors of Richmond Senior High School to visit the school’s Scholarships Office to learn more and apply.
The Foundation will award a $1,000 scholarship to support a Richmond Senior High School senior planning to continue their education at a Historically Black College or University. The scholarship is designed to encourage academic achievement, personal growth, and a commitment to giving back to the community.
Students interested in the I Can Scholarship are encouraged to stop by the Richmond Senior High School Scholarships Office, where they can receive guidance on the application process, required materials, and submission timeline. As part of the application, students will have an opportunity to share their goals and aspirations through a brief personal statement video reflecting on how attending an HBCU will help shape their future and impact their community.
All completed applications must be submitted to the Richmond Senior High School Scholarships Office by Feb. 17, 2026, at 5 p.m.
“The I Can Scholarship Foundation Inc. was created to support and encourage students as they pursue higher education and leadership opportunities,” said a representative of the Foundation. “We encourage Richmond Senior High School seniors to visit the CIC Office, learn more about this scholarship, and take advantage of this opportunity.”
