CHARLOTTE — John Clifford “Cliff” Hogan, 51, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021.
He was born May 16, 1970 in Richmond County, a son of the late John Clifford Hogan Jr. and Jessie Cooper Hogan.
Cliff served in the N.C. National Guard and worked for Vulcan Materials. He was an avid lover of wildlife, a loving husband, father, brother and son. He loved the game of baseball along with being a die-hard Blue Devils fan.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham with the Rev. Lee Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Ellerbe Cemetery.
Surviving, his wife, Amy Wagoner Hogan of Charlotte; children, Leah Hogan (Jeremy) of Aberdeen, Jenna Hogan and Ethan Hogan, both of Charlotte; brother, Rocky Hogan of Wadesboro; sister, Melissa Hogan Rhode of New London; granddaughter, Abgail Jones.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
