CHARLOTTE - The following press release letter was distributed by the Mark Harris for Congress campaign:
Dear friends,
I just finished a conference call with Representative Patrick McHenry (NC-10), Deputy Majority Whip of the US House of Representatives. A number of our donors were also on the call. Congressman McHenry talked about our campaign for North Carolina’s Ninth District. While doing so, he reiterated his excitement and enthusiasm for this fall’s campaign and our opportunity to win this seat.
“The values and principles of the voters in district nine are with Mark. This will be however a very competitive race because the Democrats have chosen to make it so by pushing large sums of money into this race. We must make sure the North Carolina money and support for Mark are solid and continues to flow.”
Congressman McHenry also announced a very special and unique fundraising event which is scheduled in is as we come to Charlotte on Friday, July 20th at the Palm near South Park at 1:30 pm. It is special and unique, in that nearly all the members of North Carolina’s Republican US House delegation have signed on to host and attend this special event for Mark Harris for Congress. This unity, as well as time and effort, shows the level of commitment to making sure we raise the resources to elect Mark Harris to the US House. More details will follow on the event.
Finally, the call ended with the reminder of how important your support is as we come to June 30th, the end of the quarter for reporting. Nothing will slow down momentum for the Democrats more than seeing a powerful, unified, and passionate group of supporters who are ready and willing to give to see that Mark Harris is elected. Will you help us send that message today by going online and giving $50, $100, $500, $1000 or even the max-out gift of $2700? Whatever you can give will make a tremendous difference in these last 10 days of the quarter. Please help us!
Election Day 2018 is precisely twenty weeks from today! I ask you to join us at this crucial moment.
Thank you and God bless,
Mark
