ROCKINGHAM — Melinda Kaye Hardy Earley, 70, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.
She was born Dec. 3, 1950, in West Minister, California, daughter of Floyd William Hardy and Bonita McBride Hardy.
Mrs. Earley was a veteran and had been a MP in the U.S. Army. She was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints. She loved to laugh, loved her children and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and late husband, John A. Earley.
Survivors include her husband, Stefan Long of the home; daughter, Kimberly Hotter (Travis) of Rockingham; sons, John Earley (Mallory) of Allen, Texas, and Jarrett Earley (Melissa) of Murrieta, California; brothers, Brad Hardy (Diann) of Alta Loma, California, Gary Hardy of Chino, California, and Rick Hardy of Glendale, Arizona; and four grandchildren.
All services will be private.
