Billy Donald Perhealth, 76, of Wallace, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, surrounded by family.
He was born May 4, 1948, son of the late Clemon and Grace Nobles Perhealth.
Billy owned a HVAC, electrical and plumbing business for most of his working career, though there wasn’t much he couldn’t repair. If he didn’t like working on it, it would cost you more.
In 1968, he joined the United States Marine Corps and was deployed to the front lines of the Vietnam War. After returning home from Vietnam he met and married Brenda Joyce McQuaige Perhealth on Oct. 23, 1970. He served as deacon at White Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Billy was the smartest, wisest man.
Along with his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 50 years; daughter, Amy Denise Perhealth; grandson, Anthony Tyler Perhealth; great-grandson, Xander Perhealth; son-in-law, Daniel Canter; and brother, the Rev. Wayne Perhealth.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Perhealth Foster (Thomas) of Wallace; son, Billy Perhealth Jr. (Kim) of Wallace; grandchildren, Ashley Perhealth, Brad, Hali and Cody Canter; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Allie Perhealth, and Macyn, Harper and Tatum.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at White Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Wallace, South Carolina, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Jerry Wayne Shaw officiating.
