Bobby Neal Wilson Sr., 89, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 12, 1934, in Richmond County, son of the late Rowland “Bud” Wilson and Daisy Blakely Wilson.
Mr. Wilson served in the United States Army. During his working years in textiles, he was a supervisor working with both Clockman and Wade Manufacturing. He attended Maple Street Freewill Baptist Church, loved attending church, and was a man of God.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Butler; granddaughter, Cherri Wilson Adamson; brother, Bernie Wilson; and sisters, Maxine Meachum and Mary Lou Thomas.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Grace Harding Wilson of the home; son, Bobby Wilson Jr. (Cecelia) of Rockingham; daughter, Robin Prisk (Danny) of Rockingham; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Wilson of Rockingham; and sister, Myrtle Warren of Georgia.
