Carol Ann Daigle Craven, 63, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, in her home.
Carol Ann was a daughter of the late Roland and Bernice Daigle.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters Elaine Dowd and Dodie Starbird.
Carol Ann was born Oct. 27, 1960, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Carol Ann and her family moved to Rockingham her junior year of high school. For most of her adult life Carol Ann worked in management for Biscuitville and McDonald's. Carol Ann was a hard and dedicated worker.
Outside of work, she loved dancing and having fun with her sisters. You never saw Carol Ann without her rings and bracelets. She had a love for jewelry. She loved cats and dogs, especially her dog, Friday. Above all, Carol Ann loved and cherished her family dearly.
Carol Ann is survived by a son, Kenneth Craven Jr. and wife Angie; grandchildren, Ian Craven and Aly Craven; siblings, Michael Daigle, Ricky Daigle, Nancy Swenor, Betsy Gonzales and Patti Rodriguez. Carol leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, all who will miss Carol Ann.
Carol Ann’s Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge of Rockingham. James Mims will be officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
In Carol Ann’s memory, donations can be made to ASPCA at https://www.aspca.org/. This charity is one that was very near and dear to Carol Ann, as she was a regular donor and volunteer when she lived in Reidsville.
