Clyde Lee, 90, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Richmond County, son of the late Dixon Lee and Helen Chavis Lee.
Mr. Lee worked in the heating and air conditioning industry. He loved fishing and watching westerns. He was an active gentleman, very outgoing and never met a stranger.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Hayes Lee; son, Patrick Lee; and numerous siblings.
Mr. Lee is survived by his children, Johnny Lee (Tina) of Rockingham, Gail Sellers (Diesel) of Chadbourn, Joyce Mendez (Jesse) and Theresa Roscoe (Chris), both of Rockingham; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 from 2-3 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., following the visitation, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Northam Cemetery, Rockingham.
