Darline Steen McCray, 70, of Rockingham, passed away at her home on March 23, 2025.
Darline was born on April 21, 1954, to the late Lawrence Thomas Steen Sr. and Catherine Dawkins Steen.
She was a simple lady who was a caretaker of many of her family members. She loved flowers, quilting, sewing, reading, and doing puzzles. She was a member of Outreach for Jesus in Hamlet.
Along with her parents, Darline was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Nathaniel McCray; brother, Lawrence Thomas Steen Jr.; sisters, Betty Lou Spires, Dorothy Jean Huffin and Patricia Sellers Roscoe.
She is survived by her brothers, Ronnie Steen of Holden Beach and Kenneth “Buddy” Steen of Hamlet; sister, Terry Gail Jones of Hamlet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
