David Glen English, 67, of Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
He was born on Nov. 14, 1958 to the late Claude Coble English and Nancy McDonald English.
David was a loving father who was outgoing and had lots of friends. He was funny and loved listening to oldies music.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy English; sister, Vickie English; and grandson, Jeremy Sweeney.
David is survived by his son, Jerry English (Melissa) of Hamlet; granddaughter, Jade Sweeney; and sister, Patty English Barrington of Hamlet.
No services are planned at this time.
