David was a well-educated man and was an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati. He loved God with every breath in his body and God came first and foremost in his life. No matter what the occasion, if there was something going on when it came to being a servant of God, he was there, involved, smiling, and really enjoying it.

He loved his family and they loved him. To his family, he was the best husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, son and friend. He was friendly to everyone and he was proud of and loved his church family. He was always willing to help with anything needed. David was excited to retire in November and his family was excited for him.

David was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and loved football, whether they were winning or losing, he always showed his support for them.
