Deborah Caulder, 68, passed away at her home on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Deborah was the heart and soul of the family, born on Oct. 9, 1957, the daughter of the late Howard Truby Smith and Peggy Lee Smith.
Deborah was a dedicated employee for over 25 years at Marley Electric Heating.
Deborah was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family, a role she cherished above all. Deborah was known for her love of God, beach music, and making family memories at her favorite place, White Lake.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Truby Smith.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald Caulder of the home; son, Ronald Caulder II (Wendy) of Rockingham; daughter, Robyn Pevey (Thomas) of Rockingham; mother, Peggy Lee Smith of Hamlet; sisters, Vickie Goodwin (Johnny) of Hamlet and Lisa Gainey (Tug) of Hamlet; special sister-in-law, Helen Hooks; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Joy Freewill Baptist Church in Rockingham.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at 2 p.m., with Pastor June Grant and the Rev. David Lee officiating.
Interment will be at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice at 1119 N. U.S. Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
