Deobra “Debbie” Huggins Butler, of Hamlet, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.
Debbie was born on Sept. 2, 1960 to the late Carl Lee Huggins and Ella Snead Huggins.
Debbie’s greatest loves of her life were her children. She loved to cook. She loved her friends unconditionally and she loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Bowers of the home; daughters, Crystal Dawkins of the home and Kristan Dunn (Patrick) of Hamlet; grandchildren, Kelsye Smith (Bailey) of Rockingham, Landon Dunn of Hamlet and Izsabella Peed of Hamlet; great-grandchild, Oliver Smith of Rockingham; brothers, James B. Huggins of Hamlet and Chris Collins; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debby Oliver, Neal Oliver, Parker Bowers, Bren Bowers and Bryte Bowers; and uncles, David Snead and Willie Snead (Gretchen).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 3 p.m., at Grace Fellowship Church, 217 Midway Road, Rockingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brotherhood Ramp Fund c/o Second Baptist Church, 518 4th St., Hamlet, NC 28345.
