Faustino Soria Garay, age 59, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Faustino was a devoted husband of Eva Exiga and a loving father of Andrés Garay, Norma Exiga, Adriana Garay and Lorena Exiga. He was also a father figure of his extra son, José Antonio Martínez Amador; and grandchildren, Janessa Cagle, Tristan Miller, Giuleo Miller and soon-to-be-born Evan Tino Miller.
Faustino touched the life of everyone around him with his kindness, hard work and unwavering support for his family and friends.
Faustino had many passions throughout his life. He loved spending time on the Biscoe soccer field, a hobby he had enjoyed since the early '90s. He was a man from the community, always helping his Hispanic neighbors in various ways and making a positive impact whenever he could.
In 2012, Faustino once again dedicated his life to Christ, which brought him and our family great comfort and strength. Above all, Faustino’s main joy in life was to spread joy through jokes and laughter.
He spent most of the days living on the green side of everything and really loved life, always finding ways to lift the spirits of those around him.
Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2025 at Elite Funeral Services, 125 High St., Ellerbe.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church, 298 Farmers Market Road, Biscoe.
