Garrison Karl Cook, 34, of Northam Road in Rockingham, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025.
He was born June 17, 1991, in Rockingham, North Carolina, son of Laurie Pressley.
Garrison enjoyed spending time with his family and making people happy. He loved to please and help others. For fun, you could find him riding his four-wheeler or playing on his PlayStation for hours on end.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thayer L. Cook Sr. “Skeet” and Jo Ann Cook, both of Rockingham.
Garrison is survived by his mother, Laurie Pressley; sisters, Mary-Ann Pressley and Alea Bullard, and a brother Travis Cook, all of the home; uncles, Thayer Cook Jr. (Keri), Jeffrey Cook of Rockingham, Dean Cook (Andrea) of Norwood; and many cousins and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at Watson-King Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Curtis Williams officiating.
