Glenn Leroy DuBois, 81, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home.
He was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Waterloo, Iowa, son of the late Gene A. DuBois and Sylvia Bradfield DuBois.
Glenn, or Glennie as he was affectionately known by his close family, enjoyed many things in life, including setting around a campfire and cooking and baking. Food was his passion. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Glenn was known as an excellent bowler and had rings to prove his accolades in the sport.
With all of these enjoyments in his life, none were as important as his family. Family was everything to him. He was a wonderful brother and a special uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He will truly be missed by his family.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beth R. Shafer; and brothers, Larry DuBois and Steve DuBois.
Glenn is survived by his brother, Marty DuBois of Bennettsville, South Carolina; sister, Mickey Walbaum (Jerry) of Unionville, Missouri; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
