Gwendolyn Annette Baldwin, 67, of Rockingham, passed on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Holly Grove Church Road, Rockingham.
Public viewing will be Thursday, June 18, 2026, noon-5 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham, with a family hour from 6-7 p.m.
Gwendolyn Annette Baldwin was born on March 1, 1959, in Rockingham, North Carolina, to the late John Crowson Baldwin Jr. and Vivian Lucille McCoy Baldwin.
Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, LaTaisha McCreary (David) of Charlotte, Terrence Dorsey (Nina) of Charlotte, Jasmine Baldwin of Charlotte, Bree Baldwin of Charlotte, Nikki Henry (Joseph) of Greensboro, and Jonetta Baldwin of Rockingham; eight cherished grandchildren; a special niece; and several nephews.
She is also survived by her brothers, John Crowson Baldwin III (Shelia) of Rockingham and Toriano Baldwin of Burlington; along with a host of extended family members, friends, former colleagues, students, and community members whose lives she touched throughout her journey.
