James “Jim” Edward Guinn, 80, of Laurel Hill, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Richmond.
He was born Dec. 18, 1942, in Scotland County, son of the late Julian Guinn and Nellie Prevatte Guinn.
Jim worked previously as a truck driver.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Billie Christine Guinn, Josie Kathleen Strohl and Betty Joyce Peele.
He is survived by his fiancé, Dianne Richardson of the home; brother, Harold Guinn of Hamlet; his beloved dog, Dexter; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
