OBITUARY: Janna Linn Farmer

Posted

Janna Lynn Farmer, 81, of Rockingham, passed away at her home on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.

Janna Farmer was a woman whose faith shone brightly in all she did. Guided by grace, kindness, and an unwavering belief in God’s love, she touched countless lives and left the world better than she found it. Janna’s gentle spirit and compassionate heart were evident in every act of service, every word of encouragement, and every smile she shared.

She was a devoted wife to Tom, a loving mother to daughters Angie and Shannon, son-in-law Steve, and a proud grandmother to Kara, Kourtney, Landon and Chandler. Her joy was found in her family.

Janna was a light in every room she entered — full of life, joy, and grace. She loved visiting the beach, reading her Bible, and listening to worship music. Through her passion for remodeling, she had a beautiful gift for restoration — not just in homes, but in hearts. She had a way of making broken things feel whole again, and everyone who knew her felt deeply seen, loved, and valued. To know Janna was to love her. She inspired others simply by the way she lived — with kindness, strength, and unwavering faith.

Janna’s faith in God never wavered. She lived every day with hope and trust in His plan, and that same faith carries those who love her now. Though she has gone to her eternal home, her spirit remains — in every life she touched, and in every act of love she inspired. Her family and friends rejoice in the promise of Heaven and look forward to the day they’ll see her again.

The family of Janna Farmer would like to thank each of you for being here today to celebrate her life and honor her memory. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
