Jeffrey Lee Stewart, 53, of Gastonia, formerly of Richmond County, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025.
He was born on March 24, 1972 to the late Larry Gale Stewart Sr. and Nancy McKenzie Stewart.
Jeffrey loved to read and play chess in his younger years. He was a caretaker at heart, helping take care of his late grandmother. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gale Stewart Sr.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Nancy McKenzie Stewart; sister, Melanie Jill Stewart Cooper (Grey) of Raleigh; brother, Larry “Butch” Gale Stewart II (Sallie) of Hamlet; one niece and one nephew; and several aunts, cousins, and extended family.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
