Jessica Nicole Peele, 36, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Aug. 25, 1988, in Scotland County, daughter of Paula Kaye Peele and Timothy Wayne Haywood.
Jessie, as she was affectionately known, was a caring, helpful young lady to everyone. She had a strong faith in Christ and shared her love for Jesus with those around her. She dearly loved her church and church family, and enjoyed doing things with them.
Jessie also had a strong family bond within her immediate family and loved spending time with them and her cousins. She was a beautiful mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, special niece, and friend.

Jessie is preceded in death by her beloved “Papa Smurf,” Harold Junior Peele; and aunt, Sylvia Johnson.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Riplee Harold Peele of the home; mother, Paula Peele of the home; father, Timothy Haywood (Becky) of Laurinburg; grandmother, Shelby Peele of the home; brothers, Chapman Jones of Charlotte and Timothy Wayne Haywood Jr. of Laurinburg; sisters, Erica, Brianna and Amber Haywood, all of Laurinburg; aunt and uncle, Kay and Steve Clarke of Rockingham; uncle, Andy Ward of Rockingham; godmother, Chase Greene; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at New Vision Freewill Baptist Church, Rockingham, with Pastor Tommy Peacock officiating.
The family would like to thank Cardinal Hospice for their care of Jessie during her final days.
