John “Pat” Patrick Maples, 75, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025 at Richmond County Hospice Haven, surrounded by his loved ones.
Pat was born April 1, 1949 to the late James Gilbert and Ruby Richardson Maples. He was a loving father and a loving friend to so many. He was a faithful servant of Christ and a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church in Hamlet.
Along with his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie and Bill Maples.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Adam Maples of Hamlet; brothers, James David Maples (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach and Joe Maples of Hamlet; special friend, Gail Wise; and numerous extended family members.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church in Hamlet. The Rev. Chris Hawks and Harry Maples will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 U.S. Highway 1 N., Rockingham, NC 28379.
