Jonathan Patrick Payne, 39, of Rockingham passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024.
He was born Jan. 23, 1985 New London County, Connecticut, the beloved son of Robert and Eileen Leonard Payne and devoted father of Evelyn.
Jonathan graduated from Richmond Community College and he was a loving son, brother, father and boyfriend. John loved Evelyn more than words can say and with every milestone she would make he would beam with pride when telling his friends and family.
He had good friends who he considered family and was loved by all who knew him. He loved animals and nature, had a big heart and would help anyone he thought was in need of anything. The world has lost a one of a kind soul but he will be in our hearts forever and never be forgotten.
He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Payne; girlfriend, Robyn Jackson; his parents, Robert and Eileen; brother, Robert Martin Payne; sister-in-law, Melissa Payne; niece, Olivia, and nephew, Myles Payne.
