Julia Elizabeth Greene, 62, of Cordova, passed away at Richmond County Hospice Haven, surrounded by family, on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.
Julia was born to the late Allen Baucom Greene and Clara Goodwin Floyd on July 9, 1963.
She loved her family, children, grandkids and this is where she found her joy. She always put everyone before herself. Julia also loved fishing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Raymond Lee Greene and Anthony Dwayne Greene of Cordova; brothers, James Greene of Cordova, William Greene (Bridget) of Ellerbe and Stephen Greene (Erica) of Wadesboro; sisters, Clara Lynn Kerns of Cordova, Debora Bond (James) of Rockingham and Gwen Elizabeth Greene of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Elizabeth Greene, Bryson Greene, Aubree Greene, Clara Greene and Anthony Greene Jr.; great-granddaughter, Camilla Subero; numerous nieces and nephews; and two best friends, Patricia Baskins and Betty Ellerbe.
Visitation will be held at Harrington Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, from 1-2 pm.
A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 2 p.m.
At other times the family will receive visitors at 143 Center St., Cordova.
