Kenneth “Bo” Leon Grooms, 88, of Rockingham, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025 at Richmond County Hospice Haven, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Dec. 25, 1936 in Richmond County, son of the late Jesse Lee Grooms and Endie Womack Grooms.

His family recalls him enjoying reading the newspaper. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone that knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Grooms, Jesse Grooms Jr. and Charles Grooms; and sister, Sarah Johnson.
