Linda Collins Nicholson, daughter of the late Eli and Cora Collins, was born Sept. 12, 1949, in Montgomery County, North Carolina. She gained her wings on Aug. 1, 2025.
Those who will never forget the many fond memories of her are her sons, Roddrick Johnson of Greensboro and Leroy Collins (Idalmis) of Albemarle; her daughter, Marsha Collins of Hamlet; three sisters, Annie Ruth Morrison of Jackson Springs, Barbara Streeter of Candor and Carolyn McCaskill of Jackson Springs; seven grandchildren, Lucretia Brower, Antonio Simmons, Tashara Simmons, Shekira Little, Mitchell Little, James Poole and Nalaina Collins; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives,
and friends.
There will be a public viewing 4-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at Elite Funeral Services.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Biscoe Community Center, 215 Page St., Biscoe. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetary, with a repast afterward at the community center.
