It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nesbitt Taylor on Oct. 8, 2024, at the age of 81.
Linda was born July 22, 1943 to James and Ruby Nesbitt.
Linda graduated from East Carolina University and spent most of her time teaching with the Richmond County school system. Linda was active in her community and cherished her card club with friends that lasted decades.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Nesbitt; and her husband, James Leon Taylor.
She is survived by her son, Michael Shawn Taylor, Amy Taylor (daughter-in-law), and granddaughter, Sloan Taylor; as well as her sister, Pat Buffalo; niece and nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Nov. 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. in Rockingham.
