Pamela “Pam” Lynn Goodwin, 64, of Columbus, formerly of Rockingham, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 7, 1962, to the late Leo Jackson Goodwin and Sarah Margaret Lockwood Goodwin.
A lover of the outdoors, Pam enjoyed beach trips, fishing, and visiting Lake Keowee. She and Jeff were always on the go, enjoying life as much as possible. Her family also fondly recalls and will forever cherish the annual beach trips they would all take together. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and loved ones who were lucky enough to know her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Goodwin.
Pam is survived by her lifetime partner of 45 years, Jeff Horne of the home; stepson, Mark Horne (Leslie) of Columbus; grandchildren, Skylar, Davis (Brooke) and Carson (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Birdie and Eliza; sisters, Cathy Goodwin Butler (Steve) and Cindy Ellerbe (Keith), both of Rockingham; nieces, Beth Simmons (Steven) of Rockingham and Reneé Cullen of South Carolina; and great-nephew, Mason Simmons.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, from 1-2 p.m., at Harrington Funeral Home in Hamlet. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham, with Pastor Marty Butler officiating.
