Peter Thomas MacMillan, 83, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 at his home.
He was born April 18, 1941, in Leominster, Massachusetts, son of the late Louis Frederick MacMillan and Grace Elizabeth Rourke.
Mr. MacMillan was a lifelong, avid sports fan of all the Boston teams, particularly the Patriots and Celtics. After moving to North Carolina, he became a fan of Duke Blue Devil basketball.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Brouchu and Claire Poirier.
Mr. MacMillan is survived by his children, Elizabeth Ryan of Matthews, Peter MacMillan and Mark MacMillan, both of Connecticut, and Craig MacMillan of Clinton, Massachusetts; and six grandchildren.
The family will hold a gathering to celebrate his life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 beginning at 1 p.m. at the home of Barbara W. and Ronald Clark, 102 Woodfield Drive, Rockingham.
