Phyllis S. Wallace, 80, of Hoffman passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023 at her home.
She was born April 9, 1943 in Moore County, a daughter of the late Leonard and Oralee Stuart.
She retired from Southern Pines Post Office and was a member of Hoffman Baptist Church. She enjoyed in her spare time arts and crafts, leather works, reading, watching movies, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, Dec. 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with James Mims officiating.
Surviving her husband of 60 years, Jack Wallace; children, Jack Wallace Jr. (Sharon), Justin Wallace (Melinda) and Jamie Getzmeyer (Brian); grandchildren, Shana Wallace, Justin Lee Wallace, Jonas Lee Getzmeyer, Zachary Wallace, Jerry Haigler and Olivia Wallace; a sister, Deborah Stuart; and a brother, Rodney Stuart.
