Rickey Earl Watkins, 67, of Rockingham, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at his home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Robert Earl Watkins and Vivian Leviner Bigley.
Rickey enjoyed fishing and watching old classic television shows. In the 1970s, he loved cars. His personality was to joke and ‘"cut up" because he enjoyed making people laugh. Of his many loves in life, he was ‘"joined at the hip" with his wife, Teresa, and loved her dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Ard Watkins of the home; daughter, Erica Campbell; mother, Vivian Bigley; stepsons, Ryan Scarce and Brandon Ard; sisters, Sheila Locklear (Delton) and Teresa Brigman (Bobby); and five grandchildren.
Services will be held private by the family.
