Ruby Brock Albright, 93, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at her home.
Mrs. Albright was born March 15, 1931 in Cullman, Alabama, a daughter of the late General Calvin and Beulah Lou Blackmon Brock.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, shopping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Louis Albright; children, James Daniel “Danny” Albright, Linda Albright Eanes and Judy Albright Hoffman; grandchildren, LaHoma Eanes, Stacey Albright and Johnny Miller Jr.; son-in-law, Paul Hoffman; and her six brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her children, Louis Dean Albright, Aleene Albright Green and Betty Jo Albright Hudson (Allen); grandchildren, Crystal Lunceford (Dean), Kim Brigman (Ronn), Nickie Aycoth, Ginger Bailey (Lee), April Miller (Chris) and Jonathan Miller (Megan); 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, son-in-law, Don Eanes; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Marvin Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 12:45–1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church and at other times at the home.
