Sarah Dukes Hirsch, age 78, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
Sarah was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ruby Bennett Dukes.
In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her first husband, Foye Simmons; her second husband, Edward Hirsch; her daughter, Rene Simmons; and her brother, Larry Dukes.
Sarah spent her career as a secretary in the medical field for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Frankie Simmons, and his wife, Gina Simmons.
A graveside service in Sarah’s memory will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham with Billy Knight officiating.
In addition to flowers, memorials in memory of Sarah may be made to Richmond County Hospice at 1119 N. U.S. Highway 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
