Sarah Ellen Smith Talley, 70, of Rockingham, completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026 at McLeod Hospice in Florence, South Carolina.
Mrs. Talley was born Dec. 27, 1955 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Lester and Nettie Arnette Smith.
She retired from Cascades Industries and was a member of Southridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Larry W. Talley.
Surviving are her sons, Larry W. Talley Jr. and Ricky Talley; grandchildren, Riley Talley, Trevor Talley, Kayla Talley and Brittany Wood; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Sophia, Eliza and Fionia; and siblings, Roy Smith, Bobby Smith, Joe Smith, David Smith, Patsy Smith and Linda Puckett.
Memorial services will be Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Southridge Baptist Church.
