Teddy Joe Anderson, 82, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home in Rockingham.
He was born Sept. 5, 1942 in Rockingham, son of the late Daulton Elbert Anderson and Glennie Maude Fowler Anderson.
Ted was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He worked previously for CSX Railroad as a conductor. He was a people person and never at a loss for words. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Along with his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Anderson and Earl Anderson.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Kimberly Anderson Parrish (Mike) of Gastonia and Christopher Daulton Anderson (Dawn) of Carolina Shores; grandchildren, Bradley Parrish, Laura Davison (Connor), Brett Anderson, Daulton Anderson and Landon Parrish; and his goddaughter, Jennie King.
The family will hold a gathering and Celebration of Life at the home on County Home Road, Rockingham, on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend.
