Teresa “Ann” Farmer, 67, of Hamlet, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
She was born on March 4, 1959 in Richmond County, to the late Marion Farmer and Sarah Hamilton Farmer.
Teresa Ann Farmer was a free-spirited, distinctively beautiful, and complicated woman who lived life on her own terms. She loved a good old time, riding in her truck, getting lost in a good book, and watching old westerns. Above all else, she loved her children and grandchildren fiercely.
She leaves behind countless memories, stories, laughter, and lessons that will stay with those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Marion Farmer; and brothers, Andy Farmer and Matt Farmer.
Left to cherish her memories, her daughters, Heather Shaffer (Steve) of Raleigh, Leah Perkins of Bend, Oregon, and Corinne Perkins of St. Louis, Missouri; sons, Stephen Perkins (Katherine) and Curtis Perkins (Megan), all of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her mother, Sarah Hamilton Farmer of Hamlet; and brother, Lee Farmer of Hamlet.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 2-4 p.m., at Harrington Funeral Home in Hamlet.
