Theresa Billingsley Bowman, 68, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 7, 1956 at Perrin Air Force Base in Denison, Texas, daughter of the late Raymond Billingsley and Theresa Huguelet.
Theresa was a kind, sweet soul that loved everyone. She had a heart of gold and never knew the word “no.” She was always willing to help her family and anyone in need. Her greatest joy in life was her family — she was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She dearly loved them, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Billingsley; her mother and father that raised her, Theresa Huguelet Preslar and Martin Luther Preslar; and her son, Joshua Bowman.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Andy Wayne Bowman of the home; son, Martin Bowman of Hamlet; grandchildren, Paige, Joshua, Edmond and Zaiden; great-grandchild, Remy; sister, Debora Rankin of Hamlet; nephews, Chris Billingsley and Brent Rankin; great-nephew, Jacob Rankin; in-laws, Linda Hatcher, Shelby Leviner, Vickie Bowman, Gerri Covington, Tony Bowman, Rusty Bowman and Jamie Bowman; and her best friend, Penny Currie.
Services will be held by the family at a later date.
