OBITUARY: William Charles Kubiak

William Charles "Bill" Kubiak passed away Feb. 9, 2025 surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Doris Dalling Kubiak; and his son, Lee Novasack.

He is survived by his son, Curtis Kubiak and wife Chris Ann Kubiak of Mount Gilead; four grandchildren, Justin Kubiak and wife Paige of Pageland South Carolina, Kaitlyn Kubiak of Middleburg, Virginia, Anthony Kubiak (Jon) of Rockingham and Jenna Kubiak (Colton Browder) of Waynesville; and the light of his life, great-grandson Nolan William Kubiak.

He is also survived by his sister, Roseanna Shute of Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey, and brother Frank Kubiak of Sharpsburg, Georigia; and several nieces and nephews.

He is also predeceased by his brother, Edward Kubiak; and his sister, Francis Lorenzo.

Born in South Dennis New Jersey, he was a union carpenter and member of Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Union. He was a construction official for Dennis Township before retiring and moving to Rockingham with his family.

He was a founding member of Hidden Acres Riding Club in Woodbine, New Jersey. He enjoyed trail riding and going to horse shows and rodeos with his grandchildren. He loved to spend time on his farm and had a fondness for his Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and hearing what they were up too. He enjoyed watching westerns and listening to good country music.

A mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Hamlet at 11 a.m. Feb. 17. A graveside service will be held at a later at Union Cemetery in South Dennis, New Jersey.
