William Harry “Billy” Edwards, age 64, of Rockingham, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on April 13, 1962, Billy is remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, caring brother, and faithful friend. He spent many years working in construction, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to lend a hand.

Billy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, hunting, spending time at the beach, watching his favorite classic television shows, and searching for the next great bargain or antique treasure. More than anything, he cherished time with his family and friends.

He had a good heart and loved Jesus Christ. He enjoyed reading his Bible and giving his testimony about how God saved him. A faithful follower of Christ, Billy lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and service to others. He had a heart for helping those in need and never hesitated to offer support, encouragement, or a helping hand. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and his legacy of compassion and faith will continue to inspire those who knew him. He also loved his late, beloved Shih Tzu dog, Cuddles.

His gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith touched countless lives and will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
