The game will also start at 7 p.m., the same as last week, and head coach Brad Denson is encouraging Richmond fans to allow for plenty of time to make it for kickoff.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools also enforces a bag policy that allows fans to bring small bags that are 6”x9”x2” or smaller. Medical and diaper bags will be screened.
All other bags larger than those dimensions, including drawstring bags, backpacks and hard-sided bags will not be permitted.
Denson has also said to fans not to be deterred by Independence’s small section of bleachers on the visitors side, which seats between 1,500-2,000 people. He hopes Raider Nation will pack the stands and spill over to the home side.
The Richmond Observer will publish a full game preview Wednesday.
