MONROE — In its final regular-season game of the spring, the Richmond Senior High School girls’ soccer team couldn’t hold on to a late lead Wednesday.
Playing on the road at Walter Bickett Stadium, the Lady Raiders drew even 1-1 with non-conference Central Academy of Technology and Arts.
Colbie Covington scored Richmond’s lone goal in the 71st minute, completing a run down the left side and scoring a strike along the back post.
CATA netted its goal a little over a minute later to tie the score, which held for the remaining eight minutes of regulation.
