ROCKINGHAM — Mariana Gonzalez recorded Richmond’s goal in Friday’s match.
The sophomore forward found the back of the net in the 45th minute in the Lady Raiders’ 1-1 draw with non-conference Clinton High School.
Senior Ashly Gonzalez assisted on the goal.
That goal made it 1-0 until the Lady Dark Horses tied the match in the 53rd minute on a counterattack.
The match was ended early by the officiating crew and head coaches due to lightning. When the match was called, there was 2:15 left in regulation.
