SPRING LAKE — Scoring the game’s first 35 points Friday, the Richmond Raiders started a running clock midway through the third quarter.
Closing out their regular-season road slate at Overhills High School, the Raiders earned a 42-12 victory.
Thanks to four interceptions by the defense in the first half, Richmond led 28-0 at the break. Evan Hodges threw all three of his passing scores and Chance Crowder rushed for one score in the first two quarters.
Intercepting a pass were Jermaine Bright, Domonic Tillman, Ty Covington and Demonte Martin.
In the second half, Hodges rushed for a score, and Damarion Allen also threw a touchdown pass to Nyjier Allen.

The win, Richmond’s sixth straight, set up a showdown for the Mid-South Conference championship next Friday.
The Raiders (7-2, 4-0 MSC) will host Pinecrest (8-1, 4-0 MSC) at 7:30 p.m. on senior night.
