ROCKINGHAM — Remaining as cool as the other side of the pillow Friday, the Richmond Raider basketball team erased a double-digit second-half deficit.
Hosting Lee County High School, the Raiders rallied for a 69-65 victory and notched their 12th straight win.
Leading the charge in the fourth quarter were junior Jayden Hamilton and senior Keyonta Davis, who scored 12 points and 7 points, respectively, in the final eight minutes.
Senior Ahaiver McDonald finished with a game-high 24 points, followed by Hamilton (18 points), Davis (8 points) and junior Amer Morrison (8 points).
Down the stretch, Hamilton was 6-for-6 from the line in the fourth quarter and also had the bucket that put Richmond ahead for good.
The Raiders (13-7, 8-2 SAC) host Southern Lee High School Monday at 7:30 p.m. for senior night.
